The sls system hydraulic lines are leaking very bad that cause rear suspension to sink really bad.
I am planing on replacing the suspension and want to know what my options are.
I would like to lower the car down to where the tires start both front and rear.
What the best cost economic way to accomplish this?
Should I do shocks and springs? or coilovers?
Please advise what set up to go with and would appreciate few pictures of any setup.
If you wanted to buy the suspension off my 01 750il I'd consider selling it

Shocks and springs, use rear mounts for the 740.
KYB Excel G and H&R lowering springs.

I just picked up a set of used shocks and struts from a 740.
Can anyone else identify what they are base on these pictures?

Front set is B8 Sports. Rears are standard Sachs OE struts.

the plan was to lower the ride, but not sure if these springs will be low or regular height.
here are more pictures.

They won't lower the ride, those look to be standard springs from the green marking.
I just did this to my 750, it's a pita to do this job, it took me like 7 hours to do it. when taking the old shocks out, i recommend a pickle fork. That was the only was i could get mine off.
will the H&R stage 2 springs work with this setup?
Where to get H&R stage 2 for good price?
Also need to refresh front suspension... Mayle or Lemfoaerder?
Need to cut my SLS lines. Do we know which side they are located, Driver or Passenger side?
and whats the best way to loop them? If i need to look them using a piece from the session I will cut, what sign are the hose so I can get the right size fitting.
Hey, I'm about to do this on my 1998 750il with SLS. They are leaking bad! So if I get a set of BC Racing Coil-overs than what else is needed to install those on a 750il with Rear SLS suspension? Is it a bolt on, than just do away with the hydraulic lines? Any advice would be great!
