E38 750 SLS system leaking bad / Need new suspension

The sls system hydraulic lines are leaking very bad that cause rear suspension to sink really bad.

I am planing on replacing the suspension and want to know what my options are.
I would like to lower the car down to where the tires start both front and rear.

What the best cost economic way to accomplish this?
Should I do shocks and springs? or coilovers?

Please advise what set up to go with and would appreciate few pictures of any setup.

If you wanted to buy the suspension off my 01 750il I'd consider selling it

Shocks and springs, use rear mounts for the 740.

KYB Excel G and H&R lowering springs.

that combination may cost almost the price of the BC racing coilovers

those shocks and hr springs comes to be around 750$ then will need mounting plates and stuff.
How low will it go front and rear with the HR springs?

I just picked up a set of used shocks and struts from a 740.
Can anyone else identify what they are base on these pictures?

Front set is B8 Sports. Rears are standard Sachs OE struts.

the plan was to lower the ride, but not sure if these springs will be low or regular height.

    here are more pictures.

They won't lower the ride, those look to be standard springs from the green marking.

I just did this to my 750, it's a pita to do this job, it took me like 7 hours to do it. when taking the old shocks out, i recommend a pickle fork. That was the only was i could get mine off.

Hey, I'm about to do this on my 1998 750il with SLS. They are leaking bad! So if I get a set of BC Racing Coil-overs than what else is needed to install those on a 750il with Rear SLS suspension? Is it a bolt on, than just do away with the hydraulic lines? Any advice would be great!

Search for sls delete. There are a few good write ups on it. It only costs a few dollars to do it, you have to route the fluid back to the front.
