Taking Delivery of my second e39

Finally got it dropped off today!! What a beast!!!!! No "m" sills though, just BMW, but man for a 17 year old rocket ship she sure is a blast!!!!

question, thought the wheels were style95 , but they have an "m" stamp on them at the hub , any ideas

They're not Style95 wheels, They're style166 E60 M5 wheels. Would need to remove to confirm if they're genuine or not via the offsets & stamping, anyone can stick an ///M badge on them.

got it over to my mechanic to give it a once over today. I can say though it is super fun, turned off the Dsc and it did a 45 ft double burnout down the driveway.

My mechanic loved it so far!!

Minor or issues but super happy so far!!

Oh oh and my mechanic said there is a bbs stamping and that they genuine!!!

I hope you took pics of those burnout marks, I love a good burnout. A lot of people here look down on burnouts, but if you have a V8 and RWD it's practically a sin to not do burnouts!

Thanks Danny, I didn't, but will. It surprised me a bit, wasn't expecting it. I had an x5 with the 4.4 but it wasn't like this beast!!! I can tell this is going to be fun!!!!

Hi guys, thank you again for all your advice and help. Question, I found a guy selling Hamann pg2 wheels, and love the look, but hear they are heavy, I don't want to sacrifice performance. Does anyone know how they compare to the 166 rims I have.

I have eave only been looking at pictures of it while in the hospital, and thinking I want something with a deep dish, maybe 5 spoke.

Try Craigslist for trading. "M-par" wheels look nice on any E39. you could look into those.

Still need that intake manifold to become a Dinan 5, 400hp no way. A FBO 540i will do 13.5's maybe 350hp crank tops. Stock 540i 300hp, FBO 540i 350hp, Stock M5 400hp. Without exhaust mods 325hp/350tq. I need to get dyno'd.

i have eave been in and out of the hospital too much lately and still haven't gotten to enjoy thus beast.

Darren at Dinan was the one that told me close to 400hp. And honestly after driving it the time I did, I don't care the numbers , it was a kick in the ass!!!

What Darren told me is on this from Dinan is as follows:
