Acess to the trunk from inside the car

Im trying to wire interior lights to the inside of my z4 but the battery is inside of the trunk. I am currently trying to find an access point to get into the trunk without messing up anything with the convertible top. Does anyone know any simply ways to get a wire into the trunk?
