    Clicking sound after replacing coilovers

I replaced old coilovers with new ones and now there is a clicking sound when I turn. They are a different brand but I did not change anything. The only thing I noticed is the top sway bar end link on the left is higher than the right where it connects to the coilover. I connected them at the same height as on the old coilovers. Could this be the problem? I don't understand why the heights changed. I had the car jacked up evenly. There was no clicking with the old coilovers. Thanks in advance for any replies.

Does this clicking sound effect the car's handling or overall driving? Are they adjustable coil-overs?

Clicking as you describe is usually the swat bar end links. My experience is that they do not last as long as the struts. If the ball assembly feels wobbly, they're prolly done.

Sway bar links on their way to the trashbin make a clunk sound going over bumps. It'll drive you to buying control arm bushings (DAMHIK) but just a little play in the nut at the end of the link results in quite a bit of noise.

I discovered this when I changed out a link that was clearly past its useful life, but didn't tighten the nut on the bottom the last 3/4 turn. Still clunked like a bast*d. Snugged up, alles gut!
