    Hey thanks for the parts, finally got the gear knob off without injury to face. Found that jiggling side to side while pulling up was the best method, biceps sore. Going to need a new shift knob, I cracked the bottom of it in an early attempt to pry it off......still pissed about that.
    Have a shift knob available?

    Oh, bummer. My spare shift knob has a discolored and cracked top. Sorry

    I wasn't kidding when I said it was tough to pull that thing up. Glad you didn't give yourself a black eye! Lol
