alright, i will leave it there. thanks ill install more tomorrow.
here i had to grind the mount because it was rubbing the ac compressor. repainted after.
1993 black bmw 850ci
will do!
ran into another issue with the mount yesterday, when installed with the idle pulley on the mount it completely hits the radiator hose.
any ideas?
chargertech told me that they have never had that happen. then i showed a picture and they said that they remember altering a radiator hose at one time but that it was a completely different set-up they did it with.
they then told me to cut the hose in the middle and add an elbo to reroute it..
i was looking into something like this if anyone has experience or suggestions...
http://www.siliconeintakes.com/elect...ose-p-703.html
this has me at a stand still for now until i decide whats best.

ok ill try that, do you know the outer diameter of the radiator hose and the inner diameter of the elbow i should get?
1993 black bmw 850ci
alright, ill update if i figure anything out.

That's not really what you want...
Instead, route the offending hose over the other side of the smaller hose, cut it and install a metal elbow (matching the inside ID of your hose) pointing back to the other end. Clamp the two ends of your cut to the ends of your elbow.
This gets you completely away from the idler pulley and doesn't create interference with anything else. -also, pretty much exactly what chargertech suggests

Am i sure what isnt with my parts?
According to the company i shouldnt have this problem.
They have only altered a hose for one application that is differnt than mine.
Theres no other way but to move that hose.
The kit doesnt have something to deal with it because its not supposed to be an issue.
The company told me to cut and move the hose.
1993 black bmw 850ci
and i told you to cut and move the hose.. .so we are on the same page.
You have a whole pile of parts there... some you don't even need, and some that look suspiciously like exactly what you need to re-route the hose. That's why I'm asking.

back with an update.
went camping in yosemite for a week and got caught up in a few things.
this supercharger is taking me way longer than is...
got the hose out of the way of the supercharger guide pulley.
now that i had time to get the belts of to fit the supercharger belt, the belt is about 3 inches from reaching the supercharger pulley.
its to short!
anyone know where i can get on abit larger?
1993 black bmw 850ci
5-(how many groves is your belt)
1453-(is how long is your belt, that number might be in millimeters)
I know the ribs and length just didn't know how much longer I'd need. Surely you guys don't know either without being here.
Talked to the company, apparently I might have the upgraded version that deletes the viscous fan.
If so I might need some help picking out an electric fan and help with where to wire and all that.
I'll try that this time and write back here later with what I find.

Email from chargertech:
"Could you try the belt without the visco coupler in it. Is it the right length then? Maybe the belt is for when the car is upgraded with an electrical fan."
If since checked and the belt appears to be the right length when removed from visco.
Now I need to figure out this fan delete...
One of there kits they supply with a new altered water pump but my kit doesn't have one... I'll see tomarow what they have to say..
