recommendations for bat. ground point after relocation

    Hello,

After finally figuring out may starting problem was from an insufficient ground to the shock tower, I was wondering if anyone had advice as to the optimal spot to anchor the negative battery lead to in the trunk.

    Thanks!

The bulkhead (the thing that separates the trunk from the bench seat). Use star washers too. Some folks have welded a nut to the bulkhead too.

The key is getting to as heavy and thick a bit of metal as you can, you don't want any thin metal. The other trick is to make sure that you remove the paint around the lug, as the screw itself isn't all that great a conductor. If you had a blind nut setter, and removed the paint around it, that would be ideal.
