    M20 Alternator Voltage output?

Curious what everyone is seeing for voltage output. I have gone through numerous alternators and they all seem to output between 12.6 and 13.2

    Nothing higher.

    What do you guys see?

    How to turbo your car:
Step one. Install ecu and learn to tune and or have it tuned.
Step two. Install injectors and retune.
Step three. Install turbo parts and bits. get it running with out leaks. DO NOT DRIVE IT. Idling should be ok
    Step four. Retune car
    Step five enjoy

Seems a bit low. Any chance you are using an analog meter, they need to be calibrated. You could always drag them down to your local auto parts store that has a test rig.Good luck.

How/where are you measuring it? What rpm?

The system voltage, with a fully charged battery should be 13.6v at 750rpm. It should rise to about 14v above 2000rpm.
The car makes it possible, but the driver makes it happen.

This was all through megasquirt. So what my ecu is seeing for voltage. I have compared this number before to the battery via a volt meter and its pretty similar.

Next question. I currently have a rebuilt bosch. It has been returned once. New one is doing the same thing.

Where do i get a good alternator from? that will last?
