Again Blue and Green are e9 slightly up hill and slightly down hill. Red was a new flat road i found.

My assumption is i added about 4° total however at 50% i think there is about 2 degrees more timing all around.

Eh i would its possible but i have not been able to. If you had a clear road where you could accellerate every time on at the same point then possibly. For me i tend to always avoiding traffic but i try to do it at the same part of the road.
Ha this place is the cheapest and usually doesnt have good gas however it is the only one with e85. I was shocked at how much cheaper it was then high test.

Drove it again today and cold start needs some more work with the e50. I heard of this in the past so i will see if i can tune this out of it given i can fill up on e85 almost always. Station is 6 miles away from me.

Cold start is beginning to be an issue again, however i am not really sure how to handle the e85 cold start tune vs pump gas tune. I am wondering if i should have two similar tunes one for each or if i can tune it at around 50 and get the best of both worlds. Thoughts?
Also i have started back up on the wet sanding am making some progress moving around the car, panel by panel.

Any one have any opinions on this clutch?
Talked to Rob and was told the Multipuck can hold around 620ftlbs.
Take these with a grain of salt. Was more curious then anything, no idea on the accuracy of it however the track doesnt open up until march. The purple line was from me trying to shift quickly and the clutch said no hahaha. fudge.

Filled up with some more ethanol, now at around 68%. I can feel my car surging as i accelerate under light load. Wondering if my pumps cant handle it now. Will check duty cycle from the logs.

Replaced the oem lift pump. Appears to be dated 87 so its had a long life hahah. Upgraded the wire and created a new relay fro the 450lph in tank pump. More modification then i expected to get it all to fit. I may redo it but for now it should work. Unfortunately i have to re-tune the fuel maps including the cold start :/ drats. Good news is i should be quicker at getting it done.

did your tune get way richer as is with the 450 pump vs stock?
Yea it did but it is pretty consistent overall. I pulled some fuel out across the board and seems to drive fine again. The more i am thinking about it the more i think im probably just bypass most of the fuel at the pressure relief. My clutch wont hold so been looking at the DKM/CCM one

I plan on putting it back on pump gas and checking the fuel map. I can compare the two for you to see what the difference is.

what idle fuel pressure do you see with the 450? I've been debating fitting mine because I'd read that it overpowers the stock FPR and return line i.e. won't idle at 43psi
No idea again i have the 450 feeding a 255 feeding 600cc injectors. It looks like a while ago i replaced the fuel line from the tank to the 255/filter setup to a larger size. However everything else is OEM sized. I felt surging part throttle in the past on e85. I will say i do not now, but the clutch issue limits testing.
I need to install a fuel pressure sensor and log. Right now it could be anything. But it does cold start sub 35°f on e85 so it cant be that bad.

Can't hold 4psi? what type of terrible clutch did u get?
also, if you needed to take out fuel at idle then it probably isn't holding stock pressure anymore.
reason i ask is i need to put in my 450, but once you fix something something else pops up.
It has held 20-25psi on and off for 8 years. Switched to e85 and was adding boost again ~17psi and then the slippage occurred. Think it was just its time (Sound bend stage 3 used for 285 bucks )
Isnt that the truth Let me get a gauge on it and see what its doing. I did the dual power feeds to the fuel pump and the voltage drop is definitely a real thing. Could easily hear the difference in pitch from one wire, to two wires. Grounds didn't seem to make a difference, as it grounds mostly from the contact between the fuel top hat and the tank.
Eh, i slightly disagree. Pumps in series are able to handle additional head. IE small ass oem fuel lines and allow for additional flow.
Yes it may not be as efficient. I will be interested to see how it is at full power again. I hit about 108% duty cycle doing some testing with only the 255, (e65, 6 degrees more timing, 108% was a peak not consistent)
Just ordered two 150psi pressure sensors. Looks like the connector is very similar to AEM, so good to know i can always swap out for good ones if these are bad. One for fuel inlet pressure, one for fuel outlet pressure. That way we can get all the data

Answer is in. With the 450 and 255 running i get 45 psi during priming. Once it starts up or rests. i hold 40psi spot on at idle. I have not driven it yet, as i need to make a more drive-able solution for 5v input.
fuel return and fuel supply hard lines look similar in size FYI.
during priming i saw 5 psi of pressure right behind the regulator. Both during idle and priming. Of course once the pumps turns off it goes to 0.
FYI, cheap pressure sensors work. just make sure you install on the right line

Has anyone ran into to the rear end adjustment bolts/nuts coming loose? This is the 5 or 6th time i gotta tighten the right most adjuster.

New clutch arrives today. Ordered Monday, def not ready for it was trying to have everything prepped for it to go right in. May be a late night tonight
Also need to add the final brackets on the exhaust.

Clutch is in, went through a hiccup with a damaged second disk. Returned, then purchased a new one. Test drives tonight

DKM is a solid kit, popular in the N54 crowd.
I did the IS head swap on my old 325e and I still remember how much faster the car was compared to the low revving e motor. I think 4500rpm redline? That little 2.7 na was a champ in the E30. A turbo 2.7 must be a blast. Enjoying the build thread, thanks for sharing!

Thanks Hova, do you recall how they are breaking in the clutch? I’ve been doing around the area very light pulls. Letting it warm up then cool down. It’s getting better for sure as I put the miles on.
what material is it?
Appears to be organic type.
Put about 160 miles on it this weekend. So far i like it and grabs very well. Have not turned the boost up yet but plan on scheduling dyno time in the upcoming week or two.
I want to log fuel pressure so it may get delayed until then.
Currently up around E72-E74. I need to check the logs to see how the fuel system looks.
