    Why can't I find a 2007 BMW Z4 2.5 Sport on kbb.com?

    Hi!

I'm the proud owner of a 2014 X3 and a 1999 328i convertible. I'm considering purchasing a 2007 Z4. Problem is that I can't find a valuation for a 2.5 sport trim. Per KBB, 2007 has a 3.0i and 3.0si. There is no 2.5. Any idea what I'm doing wrong? I'm looking at the car tomorrow, so I'd like to know if the person has priced it remotely reasonably.

    Thanks so much!

    Tiffany

I think you are right. I straight out asked the seller if she had researched the car before she bought it a year ago. She said she did. Then she admitted that she would need to check the title because it might be a 2006. Um...I looked at 2006. Nope. Then I looked at 2005. BINGO! The seller is misrepresenting the car by two years. REALLY? Think I'm going to pass. Too fishy on the front end.

Get the VIN and run it. The car might still be worth purchasing if the price is right.

Doesn't sound to me like they were maliciously misrepresenting the vehicle. It sounds to me like she just really didn't know what it was... some people don't

Well, if I get run over by the proverbial truck tomorrow and my lovely mrs decided to sell the car... the CL add would be titled, 'pretty blue bmw' so this isn't out of the realm of possibilities?
She has no idea she's been driving a 2008 Honda CR-V EX-L AWD no/nav for nine years now. She just calls is a honda when people ask her. btw, we own three honda's so the answer could be right 50% of the time so maybe she's on to something?

She is very intelligent but car stuff is just not her thing.
