So just bought an 83 633csi and the PO was messing with some stuff. He was obviously trying to solve the no start but he messed with the relays to the point where I can't tell how it was supposed to be. this is my first e24 not my first 80's Bimmer. if you guys could help me determine how it was supposed to be set up then I can actually solve the issue.

Oooh, I had one of those too! Mine was an '81 build date, really early Motronic but in an E12 chassis. Post some more pics, that car looks really clean!
I always start Motronic troubleshooting with the HiPerformanceStore guide. That page has been very helpful to me on many occasions, so I'll give him a free plug. He's a great vendor, sells high-quality silicone hose kits for many '80s classics.
Did you get the ETM yet? IMHO fixing an 80s BMW is impossible without it:

I'm not sure what relay that is, maybe the evap purge valve relay? I wasn't aware that it had a diode installed, but that wiring looks original. Purge valve wiring is listed on page 111:
Green/violet comes form the fuel pump relay, the double gn/vi wire goes into socket 87, then the tail end goes to 86.
Green/Brown is the control line, wired directly from Motronic pin 31, goes into socket 86.
Green/Red goes directly to the purge valve from socket 30
The last time I got a Motronic 1.0 running it had multiple problems: intermittently bad coil wire, broken wire & dead resistor in the CLT wiring boot, failed position sensor, three plugged injectors, and a bad wire in the lift pump connector.
