They are pretty rare around here in Romania as well...and we are a major used car "dupster" for the west european countries.
Since i own one and started to pay more attention to them, i see like one every month. Maybe 1 or 2 tourings besides mine in 2 years.
Most of them ended up in junkyards since rust free rocker pannel is just a legend these days.
There a 47 cars currently for sale in all contry.

Yes there is a noticeable decline in e34s here on the road in past 2-3years. Most of the e34’s now I see are in good condition as the poor condition ones seem to have gone.

Now the e39 is the poor peoples car of choice. They are cheaper than e34’s in the classifieds. U see many e39’s most in shabby condition and the owners generally have a pretty glum look on their faces while driving them.

You can still see plenty of E39s from time to time on this side of the pond, still commanding high prices on CL, with the tag line "car is in perfect condition, it just needs a head gasket"...

There's also been a very sharp decline in E34s (and other old bimmers) in my area since I got mine in mid 2016; just today, I saw a very moldy E12 that looked like it hasn't moved in ages... almost brought a tear to my eye...

I see a few E34s around Los Angeles. Usually 525i but the occasional 535i, 540 and I've seen exactly two other m5s on the road. E32s are scarce, and usually pretty trashed. Starting to become harder to find either of them in the salvage yards, too.

My first project car, in 2000, was a 1971 Mercedes W108 280SE. At the time, I'd see a few around on the roads that were clearly bottom-of-the-barrel transportation cars and would always find one or two when I went to the junkyards in Sun Valley. Now, I only see them on the road very rarely and ones I do see are clearly well taken care of. I haven't seen one in a salvage yard in 10 years. I think this is what's happening with E32/E34s, the rougher ones are being actively junked and pretty soon the only ones left will be the ones that have been lovingly maintained.

My e34 is the only e34 I've seen in my entire life. Other than the single e34 at the local junkyard. But I'm a teenager so it kinda makes sense.

That makes me smile, check the odometer.

mint E12s and are unremarkable, but ones that have seen decades of use are very special cars

Would see E34s once a week about in the Bay Area, rarely an M5 anywhere.

One time I was driving near my parents' house in LA, this E30 vert was made a left turn in front of me, stopped, reversed back to the street just to frantically give me a thumbs up. Seems like E34s are more loved in LA than an SF?

The first e34 i saw was when i went to buy my 525iT in Cleveland. I have owned it for a little over a year now and i have only encountered two (one 525 wagon and a beautiful 535). Unfortunately touring parts are becoming harder and harder to find

Theyre pretty rare down here in south FL. Theres a handful that i know of owned by enthusiasts, but most are beaters. In the last week ive seen 1 chiron, 2 different 918s, and an f50 on different roads but only 1 e34 (besides mine)

I've only ever seen one, maybe two other E34's besides mine. 525i's that were essentially riced out by teenagers I have the only 535i that I've seen in my area. What happened to all of these beautiful cars man....

I remember after I bought mine and paid more attention I saw at least ten every day.
If I keep my eyes peeled I see maybe one or two these days.

I literally can't even find them for sale.

I think there are like 2 total in my state for sale.

It is even worse to find them at local pull yards. We get one every couple months now and they are typically pretty trashed.

Still a few out here in SoCal, but maybe see one a month. After rebuilding and painting mine I'm getting comments about it, before it looked like a heap of junk with bad paint.

Local JY has a couple, one that says 530i on the trunk but has an M60 in it.

I never see them around here in the Washington DC area. The rare ones I see for sale are beat to hell or are selling for parts.

I can't remember the last time I've seen an e34 or e32 around me in Melbourne FL. I see a few beat to crap e39s and e38s every now and then. There is a guy around here who drives a pretty clean looking e24 6-series that I see every few months or so. Now that these cars are getting older/rarer at least once or twice a month a random person asks me about my e32 and how old it is. The most recent was a guy who thought it was a 1985.

Like others said theres maybe two around me in Morgantown WV/Pittsburgh PA area. Most of them I see are in bad condition vs mine which is in really good shape with just some nickle size clear coat pealings. They are becoming rare and head turners. I have a lot of people ask me about mine and even catch people taking pictures of it. Its just a clean 540ia with 18s. Nothing special, but to them its a old school bmw. I had some young kid ask me if I had it imported lololol

As in the 530i was only offered here from the 92\93 model year with the M60B30.

If it had an M30, that'd be interesting.

I'm currently in Germany, touring the regions and villages along the Rhine and Moselle rivers.

I haven't seen a single E34, plenty of E36's. One E32. And one volkswagen with a BMW badge, lol.

M60B30 was available in later cars too

California seems to be the last vestige of the e34. Anytime im out there I always see a few. Saw a couple nice Alpine white (M50 and a B40) in Escondido last summer. One was a 540ia M-Sport clone with throwing stars.
