I purchased new rear lower cargo hatch trim for my 528iT. Beige was over priced ($500+) so I bought another color ($76) and I want to paint it to match.
This is not the dark, beige/brown used for the upper dash and doors. It is the light beige used for the lower trim, seats and carpet. There are several different beige paints available with names like cream, savannah, and dakota. Anyone know which beige is the best match?
Thank you in advance!

Ahhh man, I'm in Alexandria which is about 60 miles from home. I painted the trims that go on the tailgate window trims with a can of beige from Ace Hardware. Pretty close match, I'll be heading out there sometime tomorrow. One thing I want to try is hitting it with a semi gloss clear coat, it is a bit too flat.

The best cream trim paint I've used is Rustoleum's hi-temp beige. You have to then clear coat it with something satin because it's terracotta like flat.

Super flat might actually match the rest of my oxidized trim. LOL! Thank you for your suggestions!
Hey Ajax, the stuff I used was the same stuff jicaino used. It is definitely flat beige, get a semi gloss clear, that will make it look right, toughening the finish up at the same time.

Funny thing was, I was going by the color on the cap. Just went for it, figuring I could try something else if it didn't match.

BK > It is either green or blue, which are the cheapest colors because they are the least popular. I don't recall which one and my invoice only has general description it, no part number. It still feels a little too good to be true. Hopefully, it will arrive, in one piece, and I will be posting a picture of it in a couple weeks. Fingers crossed...
The super low price was a matter of luck and vendor integrity. Based on other vendors' pricing ($150-$200) for green/blue, I expected the prices I found at GetBMWParts.com's website were too low so I emailed them to confirm the pricing. Jason at GBP confirmed the pricing so I bought the least expensive one. Afterwards, Jason sent me an email telling me the web price was too low but would honor it. I expect that Jason is going to be more critical about confirming web pricing via email from this point forward

I found what I am going to use. It is slightly darker but has the same finish and it is made for plastic. Here's a picture of it sitting on a piece of trim for color reference:
