So awhile back I hit a pothole on accident, and a couple miles later my front driverside axle popped out of the inner shaft. I replaced the front axle only to having it pop out again, under normal driving conditions, about a week later.
I'm going to pull it all apart again, and try to figure out the culprit, but I'm pretty clueless when it comes to suspension, so what should I look out for?
Also from the same side, there's this light knocking/clunking sound whenever you're on a bumpy road, but it's been doing it for the past 30k miles. What could that be?
Hello - take a look at the link below for the axle removal procedure. In addition to the knocking/clunking sound, is there any vibration? If so, it could be the bushings or control arm.
