    E36 ac schnitzer project

    Hey all,

Just a quick intro here. Will post more pictures and info later on..
My e36 started life as a 318i manual. I ran coilovers and wide offset steelies. I sold the car and bought it back when I realised how much I missed it.
When I bought it back the engine was blown and it was in a pretty sorry state but I was happy it was back..
I went through many ideas about engines. I had a M50 2.0l I was going to turbo, a alloy block m52 I was going to balance and itb and finally I have stuck with an engine. It is a m62b35. I have a pmc adapter kit to mate to the 4/6cyl gearbox. I'm in the process of making mounts etc. I am progressing through making an itb manifold and running custom itbs(not s62).
Recently I acquired a pair of genuine ac schnitzer bars and am now wanting to make this into what, in my opinion, the acs vehicle should have been.
I have found some acs e34 wheels and a deck spoiler. I am working through a f22 msport brake upgrade.
I am building this as a wedding car for my partner and I for next September. A lot to do, I know!!

I really need some acs skirts and want a acs roof wing. Any ideas or guidance or donations or parts support or a friend of a 'friend who knows a guy that has the skirts' would be GREATLY APPRECIATED!!!!!!

Now to try and give you guys some pictures..

    Nice!
I'm assuming the rotors have to be upgraded to F22 as well or did you keep the stock rotors?

Rotors are the issue. That is a m4 caliper to suit a 380mm(i think) rotor. The f22 calipers will bolt straight on like this one though and I'll be able to run a 17 inch wheel.
As for the rotors, the f22 have a 20mm higher hat height. The solution is a x5 30d e53 rotor. They have a 332mm diameter(8mm smaller - only 4mm radius) which is manageable. They have a 10mm larger hat height which is manageable and a still a 30mm width. All in all it is the best option available without going to a dba 5000 series 2 piece rotor at 500 dollars a pop

So these calipers will bolt right up to an E36 328i?! 5 lug?! That's very cool and something I'd like to do.

This is a 318i front leg so it should fit all e36 stuff to my knowledge.

In for the F22 Brake upgrade results.

Been tossing and turning on the e46 330/328 swap, so this is very interesting.
