    Rear Drum Knock Sound

So after changing out my drum and shoes, a knock started.

It's only while accelerating, while braking it goes away.I got back in there and replaced the springs.
(the first go around I reused, one of the springs was stretched so I thought this was the culprit–letting the shoes knock around and then when pressed into the drum no more knocking)

But the knock continued (although much more quietly)

Here's a vid of me accelerating then coasting so you can hear and then braking. https://youtu.be/dZEYSfc1z5Y

    Any thoughts?

My car started doing this. It was either the cv axle or wheel bearings. I pumped a bunch of grease in my cv axle and replaced the wheel bearings and it stopped.

I had this once,a spring had falling of/broke inside.

Could also be loose wheel bearings or wheel. Have had both in the past.

put the rear wheels up in the air on jack stands and spin them by hand and see if it spins freely without the shoes hitting anywhere. maybe you've done this already when you adjusted them? it is possible for new drums to be out-of-round. you said you put new drums on? Can you back the shoes off more and make it go away? these just my ideas, i suppose there a few reasons this might happen. and while it's up on jack stands check for wheel bearing looseness by grabbing the tire on opposite sides top and bottom and see if it feels tight, wiggle it.

Also check that the surfaces between the hub and drum are clean/flat. Is the set-screw for the drum, proper?

    Cool

Bearings not right will sound like a whine that gets louder as speed increases, changing drum and shoes does not effect the rear wheel bearings, its in your changeover somewhere.
