I think I need to change the O2 sensors in my 5 Series I'm currently getting about 16 miles per gallon in the city and around 30 on the highway I don't think that's right

Perform a scan for codes first,
That may provide the clues to cause of poor fuel economy,
and may even clear 02 sensors of fault, and point to other cause.
Post back with error codes you find.
