Tensioner pulley replacement - just the pulley?

    Hey everyone,

I tried searching but couldn't find the answer I needed. If possible, where can I buy the pulley itself on the tensioner pulley mechanism.

Would be pictured here as #6 (the cap would go on that pulley). All seem to sell the entire unit instead - but I just need the lower pulley

To me it looks like an idler pulley on other bmw engines, so maybe I can just purchase that? If someone has done this, can you tell me which one would fit?

Have you found an answer to this question? If so please forward it to me. Also, I am in the process of hunting down a squeak that show up intermitently and am trying to remove the belt so I can check the pulleys. Is there something special to removing the belt? I have loosened tyhe #8 bolt in your picture and have tried to loosen the belt using the size 60 torx hole in the tensioner but it seems really stiff and doesn't move. Am I missing something? Any help you can provide is much appreciated.

    Thanks,

    Mike
