    2001 e46 wagon specs

So I've got a question for anyone that might know, I've got a 2001 e46 wagon with the sport and premium packages, xenons, a factory roof rack and a pretty rare first gen BMW monitor and I was wondering if anyone knew the number of these made with these certain features and how rare some of these options are. Thanks!

People have looked into this in the past; can't tell you about particular options, but: BMW imported around 3,000 wagons to the USA/CA per year of E46 production, although it tailed off towards the end of production. They were fairly evenly split between AWD and RWD, and had about the "normal" split between MT and Auto: 30% or less MT.

Anything else is speculation, as the breakdown in options is not known (except to BMW).

E91 production trended far more to AWD and Auto: that's why the F31 is xDrive/Auto only.

You're saying they only brought a total of 20,000 e46 wagons into the US? That seems like a pretty low number.

Yes, that's exactly what I'm saying. Glad you can do some math!

Low sales numbers for wagons are a continuing problem for all car makers.

Well, the Nav, Xenon and PDC aren't terribly common options, but not un-common either. The rest (Premium and Sport) are "common".

The most "un-common" thing is that it's RWD-only.

Im New to the e46 so I can't speak to some of those options but during my search for this car I saw lots of e46s with factory nav, sports package and premium package. I have sport and premium and xenon adaptive headlights. Not sure what else. I never really cared about how rare different options and colors are. In the end the e46 is not a collector car so it doesn't really matter. It doesn't affect their value up or down.
