Leaking weird stringy stuff

Can anyone help tell me what this is? Smells like a dirby.

looks like some sort of insect nesting material or something. Where is your car stored? Is it exposed to any strange animals? Maybe they like the heat in that corner of the engine bay?

Yep, remove the coil turn it upside down and take a pic, hope DME is not dead.

It still runs and drives fine. Noticed the smell and that's when I popped the hood and saw it coming out

Do not start or drive if you don't want to replace your dme. Change coil first!
