I don't know how I feel about the new one, so here are a few pics of my old one after paint correction

Best looking 8 I've seen on here! Well done!
Car is drop dead gorgeous. Nice pictures too!

Its a small turnout, but gives you a chance to get literally some of the best photos you can ever get of your car on the grass with the city and burrard inlet in the background.
Well that second pic made up my mind, my next car will be an 8 series. I just love the look of these...
Don't E36 M3 mirrors also fit these cars with minimal modification?

I'm confused by the thread title, did you get another 8 Series? Still have this one?

Looks amazing as always. I'm definitely jealous of this build.

Doesn't take much to get sold on the shape, I agree. I do believe they fit after tapping new holes but then the new holes would be best fit with a metal coil of some kind...I actually like the stock ones on this car though, it's big enough that they fit right in.
Thanks man, I forgot about my old build thread for it, but it has been a constant project to make perfect and it's just about there now. Since I last updated it I think it's had new horns (air horn), LED FTP lights, turn signals, etc, waterpump, engine mounts, all other bushings, front end refresh with a new CSI spoiler and repainted stock bumper, wiring fixes and other odds and ends. Will be doing a projector retrofit this winter hopefully and repairing the broken aiming mechanism.
The detail really brought the paint back to life and like new again though, worth the effort but what a pain.
