Just a short note to recommend water pump replacement at 100k miles as preventive maintenance. I've seen previous posts on this subject and just put it off too long. Got caught on roadside as pump seized, blew belt and quickly overheated engine. Could not even manually turn pump pulley. So better yet would have been to do this on a preventive maintenance timeframe, not on roadside at worst timeframe! I was warned by previous posts, now you have been also. My 840 had 112k miles, 95 model year. This should rank up there with the oil pump bolt check, fuel pump check, tranny fluid replacement and banjo bolts check on 850s, rear shock top mount reinforcement etc.
Good advice for sure.
