Hi all,
As the owner of a beautiful Boston Green e36 m3, with excellent overall paint condition (for a 20 year old car), but a lot of little scratches, chips, and tiny dings, I've often wondered to myself what it might cost to have a professional body/paint shop touch up the car and bring it back to its original glory. The car has a couple of big swirl mark scratches on the hood and trunk lid, a growing number of stone chips and (I think?) paint sap damage, and a number of scratches on the other panels of the car. I know I'm giving only a very general description of how much paint damage the car has, but nevertheless, I'm wondering if anyone could give me a ballpark estimate of what this might cost to have fixed. I LOVE my BMW, and I hope to keep it forever, so at some point I'd certainly like to give the paint a nice refresh. Any input here would be greatly appreciated!

It's really hard to give an estimate because the biggest factor is how much body work will be needed and the time it'll take to prep the car. A very loose estimate would be between $5k-15k
