Hi all,
I recently picked up a Gripforce, yo! clutch/flywheel kit. It uses an aluminum flywheel that comes with mounting bolts. It however did not come with a gaul/torque plate or washers for under the flywheel mounting bolts. This seems a bit wrong, eh? I searched a bit and it seems Fidenza doesn't come with them either... JB Racing does include one. Any ideas?

Every Fidanza wheel I've had had a gall plate (granted they were UUC brand but all made by Fidanza). I wouldn't dream of torquing those bolts against aluminum. I'd bet every instance of flywheel bolts coming loose was missing the plate
I'd at least use washers..something high quality...mil-spec or arp. I never torque a fastener against aluminum....although, I have seen it.
Don
I had the same issue with my gripforce stg4, I bought a torque plate from Aasco for like $12+ shipping.
Yes, and they seemed fine. The rep from Aasco offered bolts too, but they were the same size as the Gripforce supplied ones.

To follow up on this, i ordered the Aasco torque plate, but i wasn't happy with the amount of thread engagement using it with the Gripforce aluminum flywheel. The stock setup had about 5 threads of engagement, Gripforce fw with no plate had about 5 threads of engagement, but the Gripforce fw with torque plate only had about 3.5 threads engaged. I chose not to run it and it seemed to torque down ok/smoothly. I don't plan to take it on/off many more times so hopefully it does alright. I used red locktite as well.
