S52 with a Rebuilt Head

I have an S52 that was pulled from my 97 E36 M3. The head was rebuilt around 900 miles ago. The motor had 149k Miles on it. The motor also has a high flow water pump with an aluminum pulley.
The head was rebuilt because the car was being converted to a track car and I wanted to ensure the motor was solid. It was not because issues or the head being blown. I have the DME and wiring harness that will be included with the motor. The trans is also still attached, but it is an auto. I am looking for $2300 for everything.

How much for just the engine? Is the engine stock or is the DME you have required to run it properly?
