    Starter Replaced - Idle is Screwy (e46 M3)

    After replacing the starter, I have to rev and then restart my car for idle to work normally...

    First guess would be your starter is not releasing from the flywheel but that's only a guess. Can you give us a short step by step of what you did to replace it.
