Cylinder 1-6 Misfiring
Engine went into fail safe mode
Two things I remember doing.
Putting lucas fuel injector cleaner in the tank
P0300
P0301
P0305
P0303
P0306
Where do I even start.
I did check the boards but I did not see anything in regards to the M73 TU
Thanks
Single DME version, that's good. For all intents and purposes your car is the same as a regular 73 save for alternator, cats, and thermostat.
Swap distributor and coils, see if the miss switches sides.

Not a 750 guy but doesn't he have the M73 with two DME's?
From my own experience I would suspect injector wiring or vacuum leak which most likely caused by bad IMG.
That's what I thought, but apparently Euro Ns have a single DME version. Looked at the "basic control unit DME" entry on the US cars and it's a quantity of 1, but the programmed unit is 2x, so it isn't the case for the post 5/99 US cars. They hand out new part numbers for the slightest revisions.

I just got finished changing the fuel filter...needed to do this. The only thing that I changed before hand in that area was the fuel pressure regulator.
I cleared the codes started it up and it came back with the same codes...but this time it also came back with the "Fuel pressure regulator 1 control circuit low" error.
....aaaaand I just broke the coil wire to bank 1-6

i just saw the price....I am going to f'ing scream!
is there a repair for this?
Contact shogun, he has wires of much better quality for a much better price. $190 for both spark plug wires, under 50 for the coil to dist cap.

I live in Japan, usually shipping to USA takes about 2 weeks. Let me know the length of the wire you need. I will check on a set which I use for selling single wires if available, otherwise I will send the next longer size. Usually the set has following sizes, each 2 pieces: 42, 50, 58, 68, 76, 84 cm (Zentimeter), and the wires between ignition coil and distributor are 52 cm. Based on this pic cyl. 6 of bank 1 is at the firewall, so you would need the longest one http://www.meeknet.co.uk/E32/V12_Distributor_Leads.htm
1 x 84 cm (cable plus boot in total) I have on stock. To add the donut see here http://tinypic.com/usermedia.php?uo=...c#.WYjXh-8UmUl
The angled plug has a woodscrew type connection.

Shogun tricks and tips for the E32 series are HERE!
While the car is down, I switched out the Thrust arms. The ball joints of the thrust arms were SHOT! It was a pretty straight forward job. The only thing that pissed me off was the Meyle arm on the drivers side had a piece of rubber lodged where the bolt goes through the control arm...found this out after 40 minutes of trying to figure out why the bolt wasnt going in Well...thats done.
While you're at it, switch out the trans fluid and filter since you can still run on six and add fluid that way.

I cant. Car wont start with the broken wire head to the coil
I did figure out how to jack up my car and put it on stands so I can do the trans fluid. My driveway is sloped, so I have to put wheel blocks in the back and just jack up the front. I took a level to the trans pan and it is level.
Does anyone know if it is possible to glue the stem back into the coil wire head?
It looks like it snaps in.

Do it just to see if it fires.
Well last night, I put the broken stem in the coil...this time with dielectric grease and put the wire cap over that and it started.
Still a misfire on Cyl 6 and this time it has a misfire on 9&12 so it has moved.
This is after switching the coils.
Is it possible that the unit in yellow can be bad.
Dont want to just throw money at parts but I dont see a way to test it.
In that area I have installed an OEM pressure regulator (dont know if I have another one somewhere in the car or not) and Fuel Filter

The Part in yellow seems to be a fuel control valve.

1 filter and pressure reg, the reg could have failed. You can scavenge coils off an M62TU.
Cyl 6 is fairly hard to reach.
