Question, my car developed some weird squeaking sound. It appears very rarely, so far it happened only 3 times in past 3 weeks, only lasted may be 5 seconds.
I already replaced:
Drive belt tensioner pulley (11281738605)
Idler pulley (11287839135)
Tensioner pulley (11287839133)
I'm replacing my belts this week also (they have 7k on them), just to rule them out.
Car is 2008 BMW M5 with 59k miles with evosport pulley.
My next guess would be:
AC clutch / pulley? It seems like AC off / on didn't effect the sound when it appeared. Power steering pulley? Alternator (doubt it)?
My question would be, are any of the pulleys, AC / Power steering / Alternator prone to fail? I heard power steering pump going out at 60k, but I don't have any symptoms (no chatter when turning the wheel etc.)
Also, is it possible for the pulley to fail randomly without making all bunch of noise prior? (squealing for certain period of miles before it gives out).
Any help appreciated.
Are you able to have any codes pulled? This may narrow down where you should focus your attention to.

re "Weird Squeaking Sound"
I had the same experience. Whenever I put the accelerator pedal to the floor, a strange sound emanated from the passenger side of the car. Solution was to leave my wife at home.
