    engine testing

Have an 2006 645C with 66,000 California miles on it.

Starting to use a little oil and would like to evaluate the motor.

What is the difference between a compressing test and a leak-down test?

Which may be better for me? Both?

    All thoughts and tips welcome!

If you're using a little oil, I can nearly guarantee you that your engine is totally fine, but your valve stem seals are beginning to leak.
