BMW rookie. 2005 Z4

Please help if you can. After a hot day, the next morning I started the day with a bunch of electrical failures including AC and no sound from radio or blinkers and top worked normally. I replaced the ignition switch with no improvements. All fuses are good. Disconnected the battery and disconnected Bidnez radio. After 15 min, plugged in the radio and connected the battery. Now the top is stuck down because the power buttons are not working. My priority now is getting the top up so I can use the car. The red pull cord trick didn't do anything. If you have any suggestions I would appreciate it. Thank you folks.
