So I am in the process of putting a S52 into my 95 m3 and obd1 converting it. I ordered two months ago the turner coolant sensor adapter and has been on galactic back order ever since. I have the plug from the old obd2 harness. Does anyone know the hard wire procedure for this? Thanks

Been looking but can't find this answer so hoping someone can help. TMS coolant temp adapters are on galatctic back order. Turns out one guy makes them and sells them to turner and they can't get ahold of him. My question is could I swap in a single ob1 coolant temp sensor into my block then splice the two connectors together? Thanks

You may already have found the answer, but for future reference here are the wire pairings I used when I switched to using the OBD-II dual temp sensor in my '95 with S50 head and put a VDO sender in the second port.
OBD1 pin 1 (BR/VI) to OBD2 pin 1 (BR/VI)
OBD1 pin 2 (BR/Y) to OBD2 pin 2 (BR/Y) (Brown / Yellow - ground)
OBD1 pin 1 (BR/R) to OBD2 pin 3 (BR/R)
OBD1 pin 2 (BR) to OBD2 pin 4 (GR/BG)
I'm going to be putting an S52 into the car now that I've blown up the S50 so I'll probably be asking a bunch of questions in the not-too-distant future myself.
