So dumb question, how can I tell if my car has self leveling?

iLs have LAD usually.
Your 735i doesn't, lumbar, seat heating, servo, and a leather wheel is all you get.

New question: I cannot find a paint code on my car, which is strange because I have all sorts of original labels still present in my engine bay, just no paint code label.
anyway, I have a 1988 735i non-metallic black, so is it safe to assume it is 668 "jet black"?
EDIT, another site says "086 black" for this year and model. Anyone confirm?

Wow I totally missed that! Thanks!
you can also try to find the small paper slip folded under the rear seat from the production line http://bmwe32.masscom.net/sean750/op...ptions750.html
quite interesting to read, even the time of the day, the production hall #, assembly line etc are mentioned
SA = SonderAusstattung = option extra ordered

Ok, next question regarding paint. What (local) shop supplies a good match for 086 Schwarz/black? anything at AutoZone?
My local BMW dealer says it's NLA/discontinued and recommended I contact an automotive paint supplier directly.
I see sources online, however I would prefer something I could pick up today or tomorrow.
Thanks!

Do not know how that is in the US, but here in Japan I can go to one of the chain shops similar to autozone, and they have a service with a car paint color mixer, when I tell them the BMW paint #, they check in a list and mix it in an automatic machine accordindly, can get it in a spray can or with a small brush for spot repair. Matches quite good.

We have auto shops like that also, not familiar with one in my area yet.
i broke down and got a bottle from autoZone "jet black" says it's for BMW models 2006 and older, it was the closest thing I could find. I'll report back if it works.
I have yet to inspect under natural light, however it seems to be a very close match acceptable for small touch up.
so for those looking for schwarz black BMW color touch up, this is an off the shelf option for about $15 at Advance Auto.
