I have a 2017 F80 and wanted to know if anyone else has the same issue with the e-brake. I've noticed that if you don't pull it up all the way it tends to roll back. Is this normal? I've talked to my advisor and she mentioned that 6-8 clicks is where you want to pull. I pull it up to the 5th click and it rolls back (which I find pretty scary) Any experiences/feedback is appreciated. Thanks guys.
Hello and welcome to the forum! I think that's a BMW thing, I've experienced the same thing in my 135i - when you say it rolls back, you mean it bumps back maybe a few inches or does your car actually jump a foot or so? I generally put up the e brake with my foot still on the brake and then do 2 more clicks after letting my foot off.

Thank you so much for the response. It rolls back a few inches and doesn't stop until I pull the e brake a lot harder. 5 clicks results in a roll, but 6 clicks its good and completely stops. I too have my foot on the brake when pulling the e brake your response definitely gives me a piece of mind.
Glad to help out and let us know if you have any other questions. If you feel that the e brake is getting 'loose', meaning that you're having to pull it up more and more; you can have the dealer adjust it.
