Ok, I've searched the web and cannot find a location for the drain hoses, but most point to both sides of the transmission. I've removed the large belly shield and do not see and hoses. Can someone point me in the right direction??

Try drawing an imaginary line 2-3 inches back from the base of the gas pedal across the transmission tunnel, toward the top of the tunnel on both sides. This is the general area the, said to be 2, condensation lines exit the floorpan. Very tight in there, towards top of tunnel.
Thanks...that is a PIA laying on the garage floor.

Your xi isn't going to make it any easier for you. May have to drop the propshaft going to the transfer case and cut the guibo loose and drop the rear transmission support member, then let the rear of the transmission down with a floor jack to gain enough access room. Not a pleasant job...
Good luck and keep us posted.

Just curious...can the drain lines be accessed at the AC and use high pressure air to blow any debris out the other side?

The evaporater coil and drain pan are located forward of the blower motor assembly. Center console, Most/CCC will require removal for access. Almost think it would be easier to access the condensation lines from below and clean them out with a short piece of clothes hanger wire. Here's a write up for replacing the aircon blower assembly. Take a read and chose your own poison.

Hope this helps and let us know how you make out....

Whoa...ok, after debating how much I want to dig in working on my back. I've decided to take to a local BMW shop and have them access the drain tubes at the top of the trans to clean them out. Fingers crossed they can access easier in a lift.
Thanks for the tips John!

Bavarian Motosport Inc in Fort Worth checked the drain tubes and noted passenger side was slightly obstructed but nothing significant. They blew both out and recommended to use Recirculating air on the humid days.

Did they go in through the dash?
Nope. They accessed the tubes on both sides of trans.
