This race descended to s**t. Merc AND Ferrari are playing with team orders. Bottas had to let Lewis past, and Kimi is forced to stay behind struggling Seb.
BMWs are fun in the snow too...
Doesn't look like Hamilton has any chance of passing Kimi, with the track being like it is. In addition now Kimi has DRS, so no way for Hammy to even attack. Ham isn't really that much faster, just that Vettel has to take it easy. I hope Kimi stays calm too, as Hammy can't even get into DRS. But if Kimi passes Vettel (he can get into Seb's DRS) then Vettel will be worse off and easier for Hammy to pass.
Soon this will all be over, because Hammy has only a certain amount of laps until his tires are cooked. But then again then there are the backmarkers that might play into this...

Well this race was exciting, but not in the right way...
Fastest lap: McLaren Honda, Fernando Alonso.

Haha, Magnussen is a complete POS: Hulkenberg walked up to Magnussen while he was being interviewed and complained about Magnussen's idiotic driving, and Magnussen told him to "suck my balls, honey"...

So...I just watched this race in an Irish bar in Brugge, BE, with a shitload of Red Bull and Ferrari fans. Talk about an experience.
I was at SPA earlier in the week and wish I could make it back for the race at the end of August.
So much fun.
I was expecting Ham to act in his typical style and not give the position back to Bottas. Color me impressed here
Really annoyed at how drivers have to ask if they can race their teammates. Just freaking race, you shouldn't have to ask for permission to pass anyone. If you have the pace to pass, then pass.
Interesting race - not for the right reasons, but interesting none the less.
K-Mag can't drive faster than others so he has to do all those 12-year-old-level blocking moves. He has no other answers than elbows out. He's worse than Verstappen with that, and that's hard to beat. He's about at Hamilton level.

I'm floored that Alonso got fastest lap, but in a good way. Finally something for him to smile about, and P6 to boot.
I actually think Verstappen is extremely canny when it comes to defending; almost all the time, he does an amazing job of placing his car right where it has to be without making desperate sweeping blocking maneuvers. He's slightly less canny when it comes to inside moves after going 2-off. Really sucks for Ricciardo, I was excited to see how that was going to play out. The Red Bulls both could have been real contenders, likely making things bad for Mercedes.
