Disa Valve?

Pull it and inspect it. 2 torx screws. Done.

I my case there were two faults indicated in the video. The higher pitched whirring which was the DISA flap gear spinning and then the crunchy sound which was Vanos related. I replaced six parts in total. Both Disa units, both Vanos solenoids and both of the Vanos filters. The engine is solid and idles without any problems now. I now have 314000 Km on it and the problems started to occur around 300000 KM.
