    E36 5.0 driveshaft

Has anyone had luck fitting a 3.5inch driveshaft in their e36? If so what was required to fit it? Currently running stock 92 mustang driveshaft, 80d poly subframe and diff bushings.

$200 for an e36? Yea i'll buy it

I barely managed to squeeze a 2.75-inch diameter driveshaft into a 1994 325is (coupe), and that includes hammering the doo-doo out of the tunnel to get additional clearance.
If God meant for man to motor-swap LS engines into track cars, He wouldn't have created Corvettes.

I got a one piece made using the stock e36 diameter. No issues at all.

    I had success with a 2.75", a 3" scraped badly on the e-brake cables.

What is the stock E36 diameter? My stock driveshaft is long gone.

Is the stock Foxbody shaft giving you problems? I spin the everloving crud out of mine on the track for long periods and it's fine.

Wouldn't that be a drive train alignment issue?
