Feeler: 1999 BMW M3 (Dakar Yellow/Black)
Listed for sale is my 1999 M3, which I purchased used in March of 2012 with about 75K miles. I have contemplated selling a few times, but never actually posted on here as it is such a fun car to drive given the suspension work I have put in. However, it is time for me to move on as I do need a bigger car.
Based on Carfax details when I made the purchase, I believe I am the 3rd owner of the vehicle.
As it sits today:
1999 BMW M3 (Dakar Yellow on Black) with ~128,000 miles. The car continues to be used weekly, but only averaging about ~150 miles a week. I work from home so mileage comes from mostly weekend errands.
Exterior:
Euro Bosch Projector headlights
Clear corners
Clear turn indicators
Clear taillights
Eisenmann exhaust
AFE power CAI intake
SSR GT2 rims (complete with spare) ? 18x8.5
Interior:
Color: Black ? originally dove grey when I purchased the car. With the door panel wearing, I decided to change out the seats, door panels and dash to black. Carpet remains grey, but I do have black carpeting I have not swapped out yet.
Reupholstered Vader seats with red stitching.
BMW Motorsport red front/rear seat belts
Re-wrapped steering wheel with M stitching over perforated leather
Hamann Pedals (dead pedal, clutch, brake, gas)
New tint done on 7/15, 20% darkness around
M trunk carpet
Suspension:
KW V3 coilover
Bimmerworld lollipop
PowerFlex FCAB
PowerFlex RTAB
UUC front/rear sway Bars
Mason Engineering front/rear strut Bars
Stereo:
Pioneer AVH-X7700BT deck
DLS component front speakers/tweeters and rear deck speakers
Known Issues (all non-engine related):
Sagging headliner ? plan on fixing.
Wiper spray not working ? plan on fixing.
Driver door has a 1.5? scratch that was deep and bondo?d by the original owner.
Misc door dings, I would consider it normal for car this age.
I am located in OC/IE and don't mind meeting serious interest buyers to see the car.
List Date: 7/24/2017

Nice car!!!
Would you mind posting the VIN#,and some shots from the engine?
Thanks.
Back up.
Who did your front seats? Look great!!
98 M3 sedan
Thanks! I bought the seats from a seller on here a few years back. I believe he was an upholstery shop and started buying old Vader seats, cleaning them up, and then reselling. I am not sure if he is still into it now, but he did a great job with the black leather with red stitching.
Bump.
