Splash Wall Gasket Part #

Looked high and low on realoem...can't find it.

This is the part the microfilter air channel buts up against in the firewall. The air channel has some foam attached to it which presses up against a circular rubber ring which is mounted to the fire wall. Looked in vehicle trim, HVAC, bodywork, etc no luck.

It's what part #7 smooshes up to on the firewall

It looks like this part (rubber ring) would come out but before I do that I want to make sure there is a replacement. Mine is kinda compressed and I don't think the foam on the air channel is creating enough of a seal.

Not sure that is correct, when I looked up that p/n it only showed the car used one of them not 2.
Price in RealOEM isn't correct either, more like $20 now.

Didn't catch that...so yeah probably not. I might run by the local shop and see if they might have any in stock to look at it.

I found a thread on the M5 board talking about the clips the plenum attach to and how a bunch of them had to replace them because they break when putting the plenum back onto the firewall and yada yada yada. But nothing that would zero in on part numbers or where these clips might be located in realoem. Can't find the clips either but obviously they are replaceable. Arg....
