Let me start off by saying yeah I wasn't really thinking this one out, but my factory amp in the trunk failed so I was trying to tie the wires together to bypass the amp and send them to the front for the radio/amp as I was being told and I got excited. Cut the wiring harness at the clips and now I have no clue what goes where.
Sincerely,
Christian
So I assume the new radio you are going to be using (mounted in the dash) has it's own built in amp, right?
Now you need to get the speaker wires up to the front of the car.
All speaker wires are in the trunk.
Your old amp had seperate channels for all of the speakers using a crossover network built into the amp.
If you are going to use the factory speakers you'll need crossovers for it to sound good.
Let me dig up the wiring chart I made when I replaced my amp.
Will try to post it tonight, or tomorrow morning the latest.

Correct rig has an amp it sits on the front of, how many crossovers, I have the ten speakers and, what brand would you recommend?
Sincerely,
Christian
Here's the wiring for the 2 connectors that plug into the non-DSP amp in the trunk.
Crossovers are designed for the speakers they are made for, so any crossover you purchase won't have the exact frequency roll off that will match the BMW OE speakers.
I bought Boston Acoustic SC50 speakers which came with the appropriate crossovers.
