Hello, I just discovered high battery drain from instrument cluster. Overnight battery draining and crank not starting.
Yesterday I checked fuse box. When I pulled out 13th instrument cluster fuse car goes sleep and using just 0.08 amp. When pulled in starting use 2.4 amp.
BMW E60 530D 2004 years. Please help
Then the question is is it really the cluster or are there other items on the circuit that could cause the draw
Dumb question? How are u checking the draw? My car has had excessive draw problems since I've had it. If I don't lock the doors or press the button one more time to shut it fully down, the battery will be dead within 2 hours. I will need to jump start and drive for 20-30 min.
I recently bought a battery trickle charger, BMW OEM, to keep the battery topped off.
Any thoughts how to troubleshoot and find out where I am drawing excessively?
2008 BMW E60 550i. New battery 2 years ago and registered at dealer. I have an iCarly and don't see any voltage issues while running.
