I know I said it was possible to fit the ball n chains up front, but coincidentally have just had discussions with the wife, and am now in the process of dumping my 84k mile 530iA sedan and getting a touring so the doge can atleast lay down in the back. Good compromise if I do say so myself.

Depends on how much you value your car, I guess. Since I pay under $5k for most of my cars, it makes no sense to spent $2k-$3k shipping them. The worst thing a shipper can really do is damage the suspension and/or bumpers, both of which are relatively inexpensive things to fix if you're a savvy DIY'er. I haven't had any issues yet, and I've shipped cars a few times with U-Ship at this point.
