Brent, I thought this was pretty funny. Worth sharing at least Not sure if Nick C or somebody else was driving.
Would have been nice to have some better brakes on the E30.

Hopefully more helpful info.
On my way to work to day I noticed that the New Infiniti Q50S have quite the identical unfinished brembos like the F30 335i. If I could get a hold of how to look up Infinity part numbers to see if there are the same for sure. This could be another venue to get the parts and to me more available.
This is all a hunch

Style 138 fit on mine, I would think other E60 17s should fit.

Bump from the dead, does anyone know if the F30 335i brake rotors would work with the 996 calipers and with rallyroads adapter? I don't want to spend the 500 for CSL rotors because they don't last as long as actual racing two piece rotors, but I can't find any racing rotors or cheap rotors in 345mm sizes. Thanks

I'm sure know one has tried that - the rotor face is wrong for the 996 pad shape, it's 5mm too small, etc.
The CSL/ZCP E46 345mm rotors are more of a true two-piece than the F30 rotors, and lighter. If I could have made them work with the F30 calipers, I would have preferred that. In the realm of BBKs especially with Brembo calipers, these are still pretty cheap options.
Just buy them from FCPEuro and you have a lifetime warranty in case they do get worn out quickly!
The painted M-sport F30 calipers look like the same? Is there any difference in performance or fitment when paired with 340mm rotors?
Also, is there a way to adapt those 2-pot rears to the E34 too?
They are identical calipers (down to the piston sizes, I believe), just painted. From the factory, they came with more aggressive pads too. They cost quite a premium considering the raw aluminum calipers are the same and are easily painted/anodized!
I've seen folks adapt the 2-pot rears, but we aren't going to do so for Angry Ass. We aren't satisfied with the cost-effective adaption option, and if it costs anywhere close to a 4-pot rear, we don't see the point.
i may have missed this. but the 135i rear calipers should just bolt up to our chassis right?
the e36 guys has confirmed that the rear 2 pot brakes wbolt up with no adapters and use of e46 m3 rear rotor. so that means it would be a bolt on affair with the e34?
Greg sorry if I missed it, but F30 calipers bolt up to E34 stuff?

Now that's highly interesting! We have yet to test fit rear E46M components on these cars, but will be doing so soon. The 135i rear option might be pretty fetching if this all pans out.

Bump with some more info
e60 550i front calipers are another bolt on affair with the use of e9x 335i rotors. 5mm spacer and 5mm longer carrier bolts. clears 17'' wheels. the common e34 wheels are undetermined
note: these may not be cool looking like brembos. but the 550i calipers are a dime a dozen. this could be the new budget v8 caliper upgrade. and the e34 540 calipers can now phase out
Happy Labor day
I actually use 550i brake rotors
hm. so what are the upgrade options for style 5/style 19/common 17" guys?
the cheap 550i caliper won't fit either?
