Andre we are testing with 8" M System ET20, is that in the ET range you desire?

Cheap F30 kit, you would likely need a spacer. We are testing with 8" ET20 and that may need a small spacer, even.

The AP Racing kits (one $, one $$$ LOL) will accommodate low offset - the $$$ kit will soon be on Greg's M5 and Jason's 540.

    For budgets:
I'm about to install the F30 335i front brakes (Brembo 4 piston, 340mmx30 rotor) on my M5. We have produced a batch of the required spacers (they go between the knuckle mounting tabs, and the caliper) and as soon as I have some miles on the setup, we'll be releasing this as a "kit" - including offering great pricing on new components (calipers, rotors, pads).

These calipers and rotors are very easy to find used, as well! I believe we paid less $400 for the pair of perfect 4 piston F30 Brembos, and perfect 340mm rotors. Tough to beat that! They clear certain 17s, such as M Systems.

The same spacers allow you to run the F30 "M Performance" brakes, which are roughly the same caliper (painted, and radiused) but with a 370mm rotor. We are not playing with that on our personal cars, due to the cost relative to other options, and the fact that 370mm is a ton of rotor (overkill for my car, particularly). They also require 18s, but consider this an option as well if the greater thermal capacity of the big rotor is appealing.

    "Real" BBK:
Greg's M5 is now running his 6 piston, RadiCal AP Racing setup with 355mm rotors on full-custom AAS aluminum hats. This setup can be reproduced (UnrulyGrace is also getting a set, potentially with less race-oriented calipers), but it is very costly - think at least $3,xxx for the front axle.

Rear axle:We are currently slammed with finalizing some big products before our end-of-August Drive 4 Corners meet, at which we are a primary vendor, but we plan to build a rear axle brake upgrade - not so much a BBK. We will utilize the E46 M3 rear rotor (328x20mm), likely the matching caliper, and build a custom caliper carrier.

With the rear kit, and the 340 F30 option, we are simply seeking to match or surpass the late '94+ M5 factory braking system, as those parts are unobtanium and the ATE calipers are serious anchors.

We will likely build some rear 4 piston setups if there is enough interest.
This is not currently a priority, though UnrulyGrace is interested in this and may help drive development.

I know you are a light-weighting pioneer like us, Trevor, so we hope to really deliver for guys like yourself.

The cheap, out-of-the-box standard 335i F30 option offers a very light caliper (comparable to Brembo F50, a tad lighter than the E31 Brembo), but a bout a 24# rotor. It is a true two-piece which is great, and they are SOOOOO cheap, but the extra ~3# over the late '94+ M5 345mm rotor is unfortunate.

ECS Tuning offers a lighter rotor for this kit, but it's near $700 for the pair.

Our custom aluminum hat setup, paired with AP Racing calipers, is going to be the lighter option for sure - whether 4 piston or 6.

Gaz I don't know E24s, but the F30 kit should fit anything that also fits E34 brakes (E31 come to mind, I guess E24 if the former is true).

I’m pretty sure the hub bolt dimensions and offsets are the same for /e24(late)/e28/e31/e32/e34/and oddly e36 m3 eurospec. Don’t market them too much tho until I purchase a set as like the Porsche calipers the price will go up.

No idea about Audi! The E65/66 use a single piston caliper, so not of interest to us.

LOL. We got you, Gary. There are a ton of F30 335s being broken here; can you find the same in AUS?

The E36 (NA and Euro) have the right bolt dimensions but the offset for the E36 is wonky. The rotors and hub are a higher offset, as we found when test-fitting rotors.

Andre, we are still pending a test-fit with our stainless steel caliper spacers, at which point we can share more offset details!

    We are live, Andre: https://www.angryasssolutions.com/parts/stage-1-bbk

We have confirmed fitment, no spacer, over an E34 M5 M System (17x8 ET20). The spokes are close but it clears perfectly!

We are offering a discount to the first person with any of these chassis, to try our product and confirm fitment for us:
    • E32
    • E31
    • E28
    • E24

Of course, if there are fitment issues we will work with the customer to either refund, or get it to fit!

We are assuming based on cross-compatability that our brake kit will work, but do not have a test car for these chassis.

I would be glad to test them on my e31.
I have the 345mm Nurburgring set now and was wondering how the front would work with the big rear I have.
Also I was wondering which calipers co with this as I know the blue ones that go actually on the F30 have different mounting holes than the grey ones.

It is very close to the 345mm set-up (technically not Nurburgring ), in terms of bias and weight!

It would be more cost-effective if you were able to find calipers and rotors locally, I can promise; shipping 75lbs and a large box to Iceland will cost a fortune! Our adapter kit ($55) would be much cheaper to ship.

Let me know if you are interested and I can PM part numbers for the calipers and rotors!

I am interested but was hoping it would be much lighter than my 345mm kit.
I will soon be in the states so we could ship the adapters there.

The F30 rotors are 4# heavier (each) than 850csi 345mm, but the F30 calipers are about half the weight of 850csi ATE calipers. It's still lighter and much cheaper/more available!

Yes. I am having a problem sourcing discs for the 345mm
I want to go with your adapters
