Hi I just bought myself my first car ever BMW E36 316i 95' completely stock barely to no rust 107k miles overall good condition. I was thinking if i should save up the money for a M3 or something or keep investing into the e36 and make it how i want it to be?
My friends from work have newer bmw s but they just seem like boats to me and just kind of feel like "another bmw "
If i was to invest money into my bmw what should i buy?
(no cosmetic mods pls i like the stock look)
I was looking for a suspension ( aggressive street setup kind of thing) here http://www.demon-tweeks.co.uk/perfor...6/1995/316-1-6 but i have no idea which one is good

Save up for an m3
It does not seem like there are any good power mods for the 316. I guess susspention mods would be the best bang for the buck.
E36 M3 are cheap and common this side of the pond. How expensive and rare are they in Machester?

+1 for the E36 M3, you'll be really glad you did. That car is incredibly fun.

Looks like you're from the UK, unless Machester is not a typo for Manchester. Save up for an M3. Start today, as prices are increasing every minute.
You just got a 316i and already want to mod? Looks like you started off on the wrong.

If you're looking to upgrade power, then doing anything to a 316i is pretty much pointless. But if you're just looking for better driving feel, cheap suspension mods (lowering springs, etc) will make it much more fun to drive
Thank you everyone I will buy new suspension if i feel i need to and start saving up for bmw m3 like you say.
