Coupe door window is not responding, it is stuck in up position, only hear a click inside the door when pressing up/down switch but no response.
What would be the first thing to check here?
Since there is no grinding sound would this be an indication that problem is not the gear but the motor?
Sounds more like the motor to me. Unless it was really jammed in place. First step is to take off the door panel and check for power/ground at the motor connector when activating the switch

OK, checked and removed the door panel, connections are all fine, next removed the motor cover, cleaned some dirt inside and after placing everything back, it worked.
For a week only. Repeated the process it worked again for a week and now not responding.
The magnet mounted in the motor rotor top side appears to be fixed and does not move at all, was thinking that the cause is because this magnet falls slightly down but it is fixed in position.
I'm confident if repeating the process again will fix it but the puzzling part is why it returns back after few days.
