    e92 m3 sc question

I ran across this car and wondered if it's "worth it" I would post this in the e9x m3 section but it seems dead! I like the look allot and very nicely modded in my opinion. keep in mind there's not really any receipts with the car (that scares me) but the car kinda speaks for itself. it's not a standard and no lights on the dash. no stock parts come with it. is $30k a fair price?

discuss all you want I really don't know much about these cars except the rod bearing issue so feel free to educate me

I apologize if it's hard to read the picture. I'm not sure how it will turn out off my phone

It's a decent price given all the mods. I figure my 08 E90M3 with 85k and some mods is worth about $23k.

ask him if its intercooled or the base ESS kit. I had a Vt 595 and upgraded to the 625 before selling. Nice jump in top end.

That seems kinda cheap, but I don't know the market very well. Just what I see pop up. I always think the ones under $25k and under 100k miles are a little sketchy but maybe they are going down in price as a whole

It just has the heat exchanger, the methonal injection keeps it cool so no intercooler.

537whp is still pretty impressive to me

A 2008 is nearly 10 years old. Prices drop. It is becoming fully depreciated. Prices could stabilize or even rise if the NA V8 becomes a collectible item. I bought mine to drive, not collect, so I don't care about values. I want to feel like I used up every dollar I paid.

But these cars are holding value better than some others. My 08 E90M3 stickered for about $65k. My 08 E61 535xit stickered for about 65k. We bought both as CPO when they were 2.5 years old and had 30k miles. The M3 was $45k and the 535xit was $39k. Today the M3 is probably worth half what I paid for it. The 535xit is worth about 1/4 what I paid for it.

They do appear to be holding their value really well considering their age. M cars seem to hold their value well, except the e36 M
