Brother lives in San An. I'd be interested in pulling transmission. Could pull parts for forum members as well.

Sixteen valves, eh? I'd scoff, but I just found a m50 swapped e28 at the junker the other week.

The '77 has (had?) a neat steering wheel like the 2002tii, zero smog equipment, and a black interior for anyone who might need it

I went to see this one a day after it arrived on the yard. But it turned out to be an automatic.

Those g245 trans, everyone is hunting them. If it did have a 5 speed it would probably have been gone before I got there.

I got an e30 sport seat, and sold it to an e30 parts guy. He said he had intended to check out this e21 because he knows that if it had a g245 he'd grab it and could sell it for at least $700.

    Cool

Nice to know my spare Getrag 245 is increasing in value.

I bought the parts to do the 4 to 5 speed swap late on in the fall. At the rate things are going the 245 will be worth more than the car before this happens.

    Cool

I checked pick n pull here for many years till I found one, I mentioned this before, while I was taking it out someone else showed up and tried to convince me it was a 4 speed to get it,,lol, I paid $150 out the door for it, since they were available from 1980-82,they are scarce and come with steel shift forks 240-are aluminum and are rebuildable all day long.

John, are you talking about this one? I would like some black interiors, but too far to ship...I'll wait. But hey,
If anyone goes to see this one, in Rancho Cordova, I could really use a driver's side mirror at a nice price. Have parts, will trade.

Looks like an e30 seat is why I asked.

That's just a half hour east of downtown Sacramento. Just east of Roseville. many of these cars look way too nice to be in a yard. they look like they've been garaged, nice paint even, as well as straight sheetmetal.

That 79 should not be in there. Its honestly a damn shame how little care goes to these cars outside of the close-knit community we have.

It's a deceiving photo, just went to see the blue one. The flag mirrors are still there, the entire interior is gone. I got excited because that's my paint color, but it was a poorly done respray. Rust everywhere. I'd get the orange car's flag mirrors first, those ones were somewhat scratched in comparison. Some dude butchered the drivers door panel, but the passengers side is still good.

It was a shame, the Row 52 photo doesn't look like stock seats. I got super excited for a replacement fender/trunk lid

    Cool

This often happens at pick n pull if your one of the first persons there to see it, everything is in tact after its been there a while it looks like a tornado hit it.
