So in my e36 I've got the fold down rear seats, they are a little worn and ugly. I have a parts car with the rear seat that has the armrest in it, I've already swapped the bench out but want to do the backrest too. Anyone done this before and have any suggestions. In going to be doing shocks and struts soon and was thinking about doing this at the same time

Nothing much to it. Plastic cover between seats comes off, move the catch back with a screwdriver and lift the seat up to unhook it.

Awesome, I didn't know if it would be a major pain due to the seatbelts being mounted differently

Nope but you do need to undo them obviously

Well obviously lol will have to be a weekend project soon have some new t.v. gaskets coming in and a gear for my seat, now if I could get my window and door panel to cooperate my interior wouldn't be looking bad
