throwout bearing getrag 240 question

Hi guys been lurking for a while finally have a need to post as i cant find my answer in the search, im rebuilding my m42 in my 91 318ic and i found something odd. the throwout bearing is not attatched to the tranny fork so it slides out but it seems as if theres nothing to push it back in. is there a clip or something that im missing there?
